What you can do today
- List your produce. Set your price, your quantity and your minimum order — priced in the units you already trade in, whether that is kilos, bunches, bales or hands of fifty. Buyers see it as soon as you publish.
- Repeat a listing in one click when you harvest again, instead of typing it all out afresh.
- Keep your farm's details current — name, size, location, produce and cooperative — and change them yourself whenever they change.
- Ask for verification and see where your request has got to.
- Run more than one business from one login. If you also aggregate for other farmers, supply inputs, rent out equipment or move goods, each gets its own record.
Coming next
- Orders and payment. Escrow is being connected — until it is live, buyers can see your produce and get in touch, but cannot complete a purchase through the site.
- Your farm on the public map, at whatever location precision suits you.
- Buyer reviews from completed orders.
- Bundle orders, so several traders can buy from you together.
Why we set this out so plainly. You are running a business and planning a season, and a promise we cannot keep would cost you more than it costs us. So the two lists above are the honest ones, and we will keep them current as the platform grows.
What verification means
A verified badge tells buyers that someone has met you — your cooperative confirmed you are one of theirs, someone from CityFarms visited, or we saw your business registration. It is worth having, because buyers looking at several farms will often start with the verified ones.
The badge belongs to the farm rather than to you personally. That means a second business you start earns its own, and it also means yours cannot be diluted by anybody else's. Ask for it from your farm page whenever you are ready — there is no cost and no queue jumping.
